I am an Economist at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors

I am a structural microeconomist whose papers mainly involve the workings of the health markets and the urban/rural divide in the United States.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. I obtained my Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Tom Holmes and Professor Amil Petrin.

I previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis with Dr. James A. Schmitz, Jr., with whom I have projects on competition and the US housing market.

All the views on this site are solely my own and do not represent the views of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or any person associated with the Federal Reserve System.
